Painting Monochrome with Nic George

Join local artist and professional art education consultant Nic George, for one of his favourite approaches to painting by just using black and white acrylic paint. Nic has developed a range of techniques and approaches that captures the sea with a sense of mood, atmosphere and rhythm. This is a great workshop to explore the potential of using a very limited pallet of acrylic paint which is supported by a variety of approaches including drawing with charcoal, pencil and pen. Nic will be both explaining and demonstrating his approach but will also be sharing his source material to help inspire you.This is one of Nic's most popular workshops and it especially fits in well with the time of year when weather systems will be olling in and providing a feast of ideas for capturing moody days. Weather permitting, we will spend a short while sketching o the foreshore.
